If you’re at JJ’s, order the Seafood Purses for the table. Right on the first floor of Hotel KC, couldn’t be easier! Small seasonal plates in a beautiful environment, great if you’re looking for a special meal! The servers won’t steer you wrong, reservations are helpful. They’re treating coffee like cocktails and have a big list of special beverages. If you’re, like, into coffee, Monarch is worth your trip. Pick any location, Thomas studied there in med school. Our new neighborhood spot, stay for happy hour! The staff is full of friends and every shop in Westwood Hills is worth a visit. A favorite, obviously.Ī cute lil filling station-turned coffee shop right on State Line Road, we walk over from our apartments as often as once a day. Sit at the bar and watch them make cheese slippers! Ask what a cheese slipper is! Great coffee and plenty of space to hang out pretty close to the hotel. Show up first thing for the most abundant pastry case-they sell out! You can’t miss here: they’ve got excellent croissants, savory pastries, and the bread is baked on premise.
